Compassionate Grief Support

It is my heartfelt intent to provide deep witnessing to your grief. I work one-on-one, with couples, families, and groups.

I am a Certified Grief Educator trained by David Kessler. Alongside formal training and work with diverse communities of loss, I also bring lived experience of grief. I serve as a companion to people navigating loss, supporting them in understanding their grief and exploring finding meaning that honors both their loved ones and themselves.

Grief can come from many kinds of loss—anticipatory grief, death, pet loss, divorce, health changes, miscarriage and infertility, identity shifts, or relationships that end without closure. Some grief is openly recognized and supported; other grief is less visible or acknowledged. All grief is real, and all grief deserves witnessing, regardless of the loss or the timeline.

We live in a culture that is often uncomfortable with grief—one that rushes, avoids, or tries to fix what does not need fixing. What most people need is for their grief to be wholly witnessed by someone who can stay present with what is real, without judgment or urgency. I offer that kind of space.

In our time together, we may speak about your person and your relationship, the circumstances surrounding the loss or anticipated loss, memories and meaningful moments, and what you want to carry forward. We may also explore what is arising emotionally and physically, and what life feels like now, at your pace.

There is no correct way to move through grief. Our work is simply to be present with what is here.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Please email your name, phone number, and allow me 24 hours to connect with you to schedule a complimentary screening call. All that’s needed is the ability to tell me a bit about your grief. We will then plan a time for support.

Grief Support Sessions
$75 / hour
Offered in 1–2 hour increments. Sessions may be single points of support or scheduled as part of ongoing companionship.

I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I can facilitate community education, vigils, and ritual and memorial work. Sessions can take place in your home, in a coffee shop, library, nature park, or other agreed-upon meeting place, or on Zoom.

I also offer occasional free or donation-based grief groups, held seasonally or at select times for community-based support. Follow along for updates, reflections, and group offerings on Instagram.

Grief support is a non-clinical companioning and educational service and is not a replacement for psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support.
